What is Sound Healing?

Everything in the universe is energy and vibration and so is everything within us. When our bodies are stressed, overwhelmed, or out of balance, it’s as if our internal energy becomes out of tune.

Sound Healing is often described as a relaxation-based, experiential practice that helps the body “retune” itself through entrainment. Just like two clocks ticking at different speeds eventually synchronize, our bodies can naturally entrain to harmonious vibrations. Instruments such as; crystal and Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes, and voice — carry higher frequencies that are experienced as gently guiding awareness towards resonance and alignment.

 

As the body relaxes and entrains to these vibrations, the brainwaves naturally slow down— shifting from busy beta into calmer alpha, and sometimes even theta states. In these deeper meditative states, the mind and body may open to a sense of harmony, allowing a feeling of release, restoration, and peace.

Deep relaxation activates the parasympathetic nervous system — the body’s natural rest –and-regulation response. Energy is often described as flowing more freely through the body’s channels, encouraging a sense of balance and ease.

Sound Healing isn’t about fixing or treating, but about remembering your natural frequency: the felt sense of balance and wholeness that has always been within you.

What is Unitary of Reiki Sound, and how is it different from Usui Reiki or other forms of Reiki?

Unitary Reiki Sound is a fusion of Reiki energy and sacred sound. Rather than channeling energy silently through the hands, the energy of the Reiki symbols is channelled through the voice — singing, toning, or humming their vibration so the energy flows through sound itself.

This practice blends several Reiki lineages including; Usui Reiki, Unitary Reiki, Shambhala Reiki, and Karuna Reiki — bringing together the wisdom of multiple traditions into one unified current of light. Each lineage carries its own energetic frequency and when combined through sound, it creates a multidimensional vibrational experience that is felt across the physical, emotional, and spiritual planes.

While traditional Reiki is practiced through gentle touch and stillness, Unitary Reiki unites Reiki’s healing current with the creative power of voice and vibration. It’s Reiki that can be heard and felt — a living expression of energy and sound moving as one.

Clients often describe it as “light being sung through the body,” a deeply harmonizing and heart-opening experience.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a gentle, natural state of focused awareness, similar to the space between waking and sleep. In this state, the conscious mind relaxes, allowing access to the deeper layers of the subconscious where transformation may be explored.

During hypnosis, the brain naturally shifts into an alpha and theta brainwave state, the same states reached during deep meditation. In these slower rhythms, the subconscious becomes receptive to insight, self-reflection and perspective change. You remain fully conscious and in control, yet deeply relaxed. Through voice, imagery, and guiding experiential techniques, hypnosis helps explore limiting beliefs and supports the integration of empowering insights that reconnects you with your authentic self.

Is Hypnosis Safe?

Yes. You experience light states of hypnosis every day — such as when you’re daydreaming or fully absorbed in a book or movie. You are always aware and in control, and you cannot be made to do or say anything against your will.

My role is to hold a calm, supportive space and gently guide you through an experience focused on relaxation, self-exploration, and insight, in a way that feels peaceful, empowering, and aligned with your personal values and intentions.

What is a Past Life Journey?

A Past Life Journey — sometimes referred to as Past Life Regression — is a guided hypnotic process for spiritual and symbolic exploration, rather than psychological treatment. While “regression” is a clinical term, this approached is an experiential and intuitive practice, focused on personal meaning, insight and reflection.

During the journey, you’re guided into a deeply relaxed state where impressions, feelings, or imagery may arise and be explored. Some people experience vivid scenes, while others simply notice sensations, emotions or a sense of inner knowing.

Whether symbolic or literal, these experiences are often described as offering perspective and clarity,  helping you explore patterns, relationships, and themes that feel meaningful to your personal journey.

Do you actually go into a past life?

Everyone experiences a past life journey differently. Some see detailed images or faces; others sense energy, emotion, or symbolic stories. There’s no right or wrong way, the experience often unfolds through imagery, feelings, or intuitive awareness that feels most natural for you,

The purpose isn’t to prove a past life happened, but to explore the personal meaning, insight or reflection that may emerge. Whether it’s understood symbolically or experientially, the personal impact of the experience can feel meaningful and relevant. Often offering perspective, and a greater sense of clarity.

What is a Life-Between-Lives Journey?

A Life-Between-Lives Journey — sometimes called Life-Between-Lives Regression — goes beyond past lives into symbolic inner exploration often associated with themes between incarnations. It is an experiential, non-clinical practice, rather than a psychological process,

Many people experience feelings of peace, insight, or perspective. It often brings reflection around life direction, relationships, and themes that feel personally significant within this lifetime. 

What if none of the listed programs or sessions resonate with me?

That’s completely okay. Every journey is unique, and I understand that sometimes what’s listed might not reflect exactly what you’re looking for. I often create custom experiential sessions tailored to your unique energy, intentions, and needs.

What can I expect from a session?

We begin with setting a clear intention — what you wish to explore, reflect on, or invite into your life. The intention helps guide the focus of the session and creates a supportive container for the experience.

You’ll then be guided into a meditative state through guided imagery, sound and voice. From there, many people experience a sense of relaxation, increased awareness, insight and inner spaciousness.

Afterward, we take time to integrate and reflect so you leave feeling grounded, clear, and centered.

What happens if I don’t feel good after a session?

Most people leave feeling peaceful, light, and inspired. Sometimes, deeper emotions or reflections may surface afterwards, which can be a normal part of processing and integration.

You may feel tired, emotional, or sensitive for a day or two as your system adjusts.

If this happens, rest, hydrate, and be kind to yourself. If something feels particularly personal or emotionally significant, you may wish to seek additional support that feels appropriate for you, whether that’s a one-on-one session or support from a qualified mental health professional. 

How should I prepare for a session?

Create a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.

Avoid heavy meals or caffeine right before.

Set a clear intention for what you want to explore or receive.

Keep an open mind and heart — allow yourself to notice whatever arises during the experience, without expectation.

Can sessions be done online?

Yes. SoniQ HypnotiQ sessions, including Past Life and Life-Between-Lives Journeys, can be done online.

Because much of this work flows through voice, sound, and guided meditation, the experience can translate well across distance. Many clients find that being in their own space supports relaxation and allows them to engage comfortably with the experience.

All you need is a quiet room, a stable internet connection, and a good pair of headphones or speakers. Many people find that the experience can feel just as meaningful and engaging online as in person.
